CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM THE NCFI PREISIDENT
Mr%20Jacob%20G%20Tsado%20(NCFI%20Pres_ed

Mr. Jacob G. Tsado

On behalf of Nupe Christian Fellowship International (NCFI), I bring you this year’s Christmas special greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I appreciate God as we enter into the 2021 Christmas season in good health and strengthened faith in Jesus. Praise be unto His holy name.

It is my prayer that the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ will endure us with power to serve Him more in the coming New Year, 2022, amen.

I also appreciate the unflinching supports of our Board of Trustees, the Denominational Heads, the National Executive Committee, and the Zonal/Branch Chairmen for all that we were able to achieve in the outgoing year 2021. Your commitment and support enabled us to implement the Fellowship Programmes, especially the Annual General Conference held in April 2021 and the Nupe Bible Project.

As we go into the New Year, it is my earnest prayer that the grace of God will be Sufficient for our Trustees, Denominational Heard, Zonal Chairmen, and the entire Fellowship members in the World. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each and every one of you, amen.

Finally, I urge the entire NCFI community to stand strong in the Lord as we crossover to the new year 2022. Thanks.

Happy New Year and Thank you

INVITATIONAL MESSAGE FROM THE NCFI EVANGELIST
Rev James Adams.jpg

Rev. James Adam JP

In Psalms 95:1 - 3, The Psalmist gave a special call to the people of God and said, (1) “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. (2) Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. (3) For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods.”

Indeed, our LORD and our Almighty God has done great things for us in the past years and these things and God can never be taken for granted.

The Psalmist is not particular in any special way that we should thank him and praise him, he simply said, make a joyful noise to the LORD. Clearly, he said this two times, but what could this mean? It means we should go and borrow the language of every living thing on earth that is, birds, animals, fishes, even the wind to praise his majesty. I admonish you to praise him with every best language you can use on earth, the LORD said he will appreciate. More so, as human beings who he has chosen to be the co-creators and co-labourers we must give...

NUPE CHRISTIAN LITERATURE

History of the Nupe Christian Literature Committee

Language is a means of communication and interaction among people. Thus, the Nupe speaking ethnic group together with the European missionaries in Nigeria saw the need to promote and develop the spoken and written Nupe language. Consequently, a committee was constituted, called the “Nupe Christian Literature Committee” in the year 1906 at Patigi in the present Kwara State of Nigeria. The Committee was reconstituted in 1939 and Mr. A. Banfield continue to chair it so as to sustain the activities during World War 11.  The other members of the Committee include; Irak Sherk (UMS), F. Mercy Weather (SIM), D. E. Ball and G. H. Dintree of CMS.

Takada Nya Aduwa

Literature sustains the word God throughout history. Today it is an excellent way to preach the gospel to all. The NCFI Nupe Literature Ministry follows the word of God in the Book of Joshua 1:8, (NKJV) “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”
(2 Tim 2:2)
The literature Ministry supports the distribution of Nupe literature and in addition translation from other languages to Nupe and from Nupe to English and other languages.

You will find Nupe literature materials on this website. You can also fill the feedback form to request for materials that are not available here as e-literature publication/book.

Finally, you can join the Nupe Literature ministry for the distribution and sharing of the materials by pushing this button nupeliterature-join.
